LIFE AND WORDS

We may not have the gift of witnessing. But we certainly know how to be loving and caring.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).

                                           ------------------------------------------

That said, we still need to share the Good News at the opportune moment. When people’s interest is piqued as to why we are so peculiar (1 Peter 2:9) and loving, it’s time to share the message.

“So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ” (Romans 10:17).

                                           ------------------------------------------

We should always be ready to share the Good News, whether we use a simple ‘bridge method’, The Four Spiritual Laws or whatever.

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15).

                                           ------------------------------------------

Witnessing may not be our special gift but we should still be a witness to His goodness.

We should do the work of an evangelist (2 Timothy 4:5) even though we are not an evangelist.

For the Great Commission is for all believers, not only for those with the gift of witnessing.
