DON’T DESPISE SMALL BEGINNINGS

Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, founders of APPLE, started building a prototype computer in a spare bedroom. Later they shifted to a garage. And, as they say, the rest is history.

So never underestimate the potential of small start-ups.

Everything starts with an idea.

Then hard work follows the inspiration and ingenuity behind that idea.

“People will not be ashamed of the small beginnings, and they will be very happy when they see Zerubbabel with the plumb line, measuring and checking the finished building” (Zechariah 4:10).

Young people, “let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). You may feel intimidated when you compare yourself with others who have gone ahead and achieved much. But don’t despair for you’ve just started. Press on for the home run.

Senior citizens must not see themselves as past their prime – that they are old, decrepit and over the hill. Many things await them if they have faith and a positive mental attitude. God is able to “restore the years that the locusts have eaten” (Joel 2:25).

For God is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us”(Ephesians 3:20).

FOR ALL:  It all begins with a VISION:
